Sandra Lee Hellard

Sandra “Bobbi” Lee Hellard, 70, passed away January 5, 2014. She was born to the late Joseph S. and Adeline Dolby Black in Norfolk, Virginia. She was also preceded by her husband, James A. Hellard; and a son, Thomas P. Mooney. Sandra worked for Best Repair Co., Inc. for over 40 years, she was a loving mother and grandmother to many.
Left to cherish her memory are her children, Cynthia Knotts, Wayne Black, Donna Mooney, Katherine Parsons and her husband Terry; grandchildren, Brianne Williams, Jonathon Knotts, Christopher Hellard, Preston Black, Brittany Williamson, Kandice Townsend, Brittany Knotts, Sky Cheyanne Black and Nicholas Black; great-grandchildren, Alexis Townsend, Kaleb Townsend, Brilee Williams and Chase Hellard.
A service to celebrate her life will be held Friday, January 10, 2014 at 2:00pm at Altmeyer Funeral Home, 5792 Greenwich Rd., Virginia Beach, VA 23462. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday from 6 – 7:30 pm.
