Sally Ann Starkey Bringman, 59, of St. Clairsville, OH, died Tuesday, December 13, 2011 in OVMC, Wheeling, WV.
She was born November 25, 1952 in Glen Dale, WV, a daughter of the late James R. and Margaret Louise Starkey.
She was an employee of the Noble County Correctional Facility, Caldwell, OH.
Surviving are her three children, Staff Sgt. Lafe Maribel Bringman, USMC, of Twentynine Palms, CA; Heather Rick Wallace of St. Clairsville; Melissa Brian Spencer of Weirton, WV; two brothers, George Doris Starkey of Stewartsville, OH; James Darla Starkey of Bellaire, OH; eight, grandchildren, Brandon, Abigail, Brooke, Mason, Alex, Zion, Zoey and Dayshaud; nieces and nephews, Kala Bonar, Kerri Starkey, Cody Starkey, James R. Starkey III, Andrew Starkey, Adrianne Myers; a godson, David Skvarka.
Friends received 6-8 p.m. Friday at the Altmeyer Funeral Home, 214 Marshall Street, McMechen, where funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, December 17, 2011.

George, Jimmy, and kids, I was so sorry to hear of Sally’s passing. Being so sudden must have been even more difficult.At least she is not in pain and at peace now. Please give my respects to the rest of the family.
Gerard and I would like to express our deepest sympathy to your family. Knowing that she is no longer suffering and is with the Lord will hopefully bring some comfort!! May your days, in time, get easier keeping her in your daily memories……

I am so sorry for your loss. The entire family is in my thoughts and prayers. I never met Sally but everyone spoke of what a strong and loving woman she was. You were blessed to have such a wonderful mother.
I am so saddened to read Sally’s obituary this morning. I will always remember the Starkey family living on the other side of mom and dad’s duplex. Jimmy, Sally, and Georgie… life passes by so quickly, but our memories remain forever. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you. God Bless.

Jim, George and entire family…..When I think of growing up it includes the Starkey’s. Sally and me spent many a day as friends and enemies….but all good memories in the end. So sorry for your loss.

Sorry to hear of the passing of your mother. I have great memories of her along with my dear friend Susan who has also been called to be with the Lord. Life is so unpredictable.
