RUTH G. MEADOWS, 79, OF CENTERVILLE, OHIO, FORMERLY OF ELKINS, WV. PASSED AWAY NOVEMBER 25, 2003 IN PITTSBURGH, PA. SHE WAS
BORN MARCH 13, 1924 IN KANAWHA COUNTY, A DAUGHTER OF THE LATE RALPH AND MARGARET WELCH. SHE WAS A MEMBER OF CHURCH ALIVE OF KEY, OHIO.

SHE WAS PRECEDED IN DEATH BY HER
HUSBAND JAMES W. MEADOWS, A SON JAMES MEADOWS, DAUGHTER SANDRA HUGHES, TWO BROTHERS AND TWO SISTERS.

SURVIVING ARE FOUR SONS, ROGER MEADOWS OF GILLETTE, WY, THOMAS MEADOWS OF LAKE WORTH, FLORIDA, DONALD PATSY MEADOWS OF POWHATAN POINT, OHIO AND GARY MEADOWS OF CENTERVILLE, OHIO.

THREE DAUGHTERS, JANICE YOUNKINS OF DILLONVALE, OHIO, RUTH ANN MARTY BROUGHTON OF ELKINS AND CONNIE RAMSAY OF JACOBSBURG, OHIO.

THREE BROTHERS, HARRY WELCH OF NEW BERLIN, WI, DON WELCH OF KEY, OHIO AND RALPH WELCH OF ALLEDONIA, OHIO AND A SISTER PAT EUBANKS OF LANSING, OHIO.

24 GRANDCHILDREN, 34 GREAT GRANDCHILDREN AND 2 GREAT GREAT GRANDCHILDREN.

FRIENDS WILL BE RECEIVED ON FRIDAY NOVEMBER 28 FROM 2-4 AND 6-8 PM AT THE BAUKNECHT-ALTMEYER FUNERAL HOME, 186 MAIN STREET, POWHATAN POINT, OHIO, WHERE SERVICES WILL BE HELD 11 AM SATURDAY WITH PASTOR JEFFREY LEWIS OFFICIATING.

INTERMENT IN POWHATAN CEMETERY, POWHATAN POINT, OHIO.

MEMORIAL CONTRIBUTIONS MAY BE MADE

Janice, so sorry to hear about your mother. I have thought about you often over the years and wondered where you were. I’m still in Shadyside with my sons. Again, so sorry to hear about your mother – it’s such a bad time of the year also, but then again, I guess there’s no good time for this kind of thing.
