Ruth B. Doty 68 of Bellaire died Wednesday
October 31, 2001 at the Wheeling Hospital in
Wheeling.
She was born July 14, 1933 in Clow, West Virginia a daughter of the late Roy and Etti Miller White.
Ruth was a homemaker and a member of the South Bellaire United Methodist Church; she also
loved to play bingo and was a member of the Dr. Shepherd Apartments Bluebird’s Volleyball Team.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Grace Gaddie and Violet
Holland and three brothers, Claude Harold, Jennings, and Raymond White.
Surviving are two sons, Bobby White and his wife Colleen of Bellaire, Gary Doty and his wife,
Mary of St. Clairsville, Ohio; two daughters, Peggy Weishar and her husband Tom of Wheeling and Connie Waryck and her husband Luther of St. Clairsville; three sisters Hazel Turner of Pomeroy
Ohio, Jeanne Koegler of Beverly, Ohio and Dorothy
Douglas of Mansfield, Ohio. Also twelve grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
Friends will be recieved at the Bauknecht-Altmeyer Funeral Home, 441-37th Street, Bellaire, Ohio, on Friday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM where services will be held on Saturday at 11 AM with the Reverend Randy Cetorelli officiating. Interment in Powhatan Cemetery, Powhatan Point, Ohio.
Bobbi Jo and Family, Our deepest sympathy is with you and your family at this sad time. Your grandma was truly a remarkable and loved woman, and I will miss her deeply. I’m here for you if you need anything.
