HICKS, Ruth A. Baker 75, of Kettler Avenue, Mozart, died Thursday May 8, 2003 at her home.
Ruth was born July 29, 1927 in Wheeling, a daughter of the late Frank and Lula Baker. She was Pentecostal by faith, was a member of the Bob Ross Art Club and very much enjoyed painting.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Earl M. Hicks in 1982; a brother, Donald Baker; and son-in-law, Donald E. Davis.
Surviving are seven children, Judy Britton and her husband Robert of Wheeling, Brenda Minzler and her husband Don of Mozart, Phyllis McCasland and her husband Charles of Mozart, Pamela J. Davis Goblebiewski and her husband Mark of Wheeling, Earl M. Hicks Jr. of Dillonvale, OH, Rhonda M. Hicks and her partner Donna of Mozart and Cheryl Ritchie and her husband Ron; brother, Bill Baker and his wife Joyce of Tampa, FL; four sisters, Sandra Wiggins and her husband Willy of St. Clairsville, OH, Regina Leach and her husband Jack of Florida, Lou Misenhelder of Florida, Shirley Hendricks of Cambridge, OH; a brother, Frank Baker of Lansing, OH; Bill Harmon; sister-in-law, Alice Hicks andher husband Walter of Utica, OH; 14 grandchildren. 23 great-grandchildren; three faithful friends, Carlos, April and Lucy.
Friends will be received from 1-9 pm Sunday at Altmeyer Funeral Home, 1400 Eoff Street, Wheeling, where funeral services will be held at 11 am on Monday May 12, 2003. Interment will follow in Mt. Zion Cemetery, Wheeling.
The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to Valley Hospice, 98 B East Cove Avenue, Wheeling, WV 26003.

Bob and I would like to let you know that we are here if you need anything. We do not know the whole family, just Judy, Rhonda, Phyllis and Brenda but our hearts go out to each and every one of you.
