LaFlam, RoseMarie, 76, of Wheeling, died Thursday, Dec.4, 2003 in Wheeling Hospital. She was born in Wheeling on April 24, 1927, the daughter of the late George and Anastasia Foley LaFlam. RoseMarie was a member of St. Joseph Cathedral, the Legion of Mary, Catholic Daughters of the Americas, Sisters of St. Joseph Auxiliary, Island Senior Citizens, a member of the former Blessed Trinity Women’s Guild, Chairman of the St. Joseph Cathedral Guild and was a Eucharistic Minister and Lector at St. Joseph Cathedral. She was awarded the stewardship award by St. Joseph Cathedral in 2002. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, George Jr., James Sr., and Leo LaFlam. RoseMarie was a devoted aunt to her nephews, George LaFlam, III, of Coral Springs, FL, James LaFlam, Jr. and his wife Becki, Thomas LaFlam and his wife, Stephanie, all of Wheeling; and to her nieces, Catherine LaFlam of Grove City, Ohio, Cynthia Carr and her husband, Mike, of Royal Palm Beach, FL, Christy Klug and her husband, Mark, of Moundsville, Sally Miller and her husband, Lance, and Connie Mirides and her husband, Jim, all of Wheeling. She is also survived by two sisters-in-law, Jean M. LaFlam and Jean L. LaFlam, both of Wheeling; several great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at the Altmeyer Funeral Home, 1400 Eoff St., Wheeling, Monday from 1-8 p.m. Liturgy of the word with Mass will be held at 12:05 p.m. Tuesday at St. Joseph Cathedral with the Rev. Larry Dorsch as celebrant. Interment in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Wheeling. Vigil services will be held Monday at 7:00 p.m. and Catholic Daughters Rosary service will be at 7:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
