Rose M. Montalbano Robinson, 88 of Wheeling, died Thursday, October 29, 2003 in Wheeling Hospital.
She was born April 8, 1915 in Barton, Ohio, a daughter of the late Joseph and Angela Pallery Montalbano.
She was a former owner of the Retired Triadelphia Social Club and Slicks Grill and Pizza, a member of Our Lady of Seven Dolors Catholic Church, Triadelphia, Seven Dolors Ladies Alter Society and a Eucharistic minister.
In addition to her parents, preceding her in death was her husband, Charles D. Robinson, two daughters, Evelyn Nemo-Grover and Angela Rose Robinson, two brothers, Frank and August Montalbano, two sisters, Anne Griener and Elizabeth Gebroski.
Surviving are four sons, Charles J. Robinson and his wife Joyce of
Triadelphia; Daniel L. Robinson and his wife Sheila of Triadelphia; August F. Robinson and his wife Kathy of Columbiana, OH; Kenny Woolard and his wife Betty of Newton Falls, OH; a sister, Mary Butler of Wheeling; 17 grand-children, 34 great-grandchildren.
Friends received noon-3 and 6-8pm Sunday at the Altmeyer Funeral Home, 154 Kruger St., Wheeling/Elm Grove where vigil service will be held at 7:30pm. Funeral Liturgy with mass will be celebrated at 10:00am. Monday November 3, 2003 at Our Lady of Seven Dolors Catholic Church with the Rev. James Lacrosse S.M. as celebrant.
Interment in Seven Dolors Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Seven Dolors Ladies Alter Society.
