01/29/1927 - 04/08/2010

Rosanne Miller Perme passed on to her heavenly Father on April 8th, 2010 in Williamsburg, VA. Born January 29th 1927 in Cleveland Ohio. The oldest of six children in the loving family of Ray and Ruth Miller. Rosanne graduated from Beaumont High School for Girls in Cleveland Heights, Ohio, and Marymount College in Tarrytown, New York. After college she had a brief career in radio at WERE Radio in Cleveland. She met, fell in love, and married Lee Joseph Perme, a young Captain in U.S. Army intelligence in 1952. She was stationed with him in London. Upon returning to the states Lee began a successful career in law and business and they both started a family. Lee preceded Rosanne in death in 2009 after 57 years of marriage. Rosanne has been a mother, mentor and matriarch to a loving family that includes seven children and eleven grand children. Her humor, zest for life and incredible energy will be missed by all who knew her. She was an avid golfer for many years. Affectionately known to friends and adversaries on the golf course as Mrs. Putts for her ability on the greens. Raising her family in Louisville, Kentucky she was able to volunteer her time in recent years to local hospitals and organizations. A private service will be held for family in Williamsburg Virginia, followed by a celebration of Rosanne and Lee’s life at a later time in Louisville Kentucky.
