I really haven’t followed the news and the pageantry of Ronald Reagans funeral. But this morning I read an article about it. I also read about Nancy and the family, and their actions and feelings.

I would only hope that I could honor my husband with such love when he dies. That is if he precedes me. She is a wonderful inspiration to all women who have stood by their husband in times of sickness and in health.

I was brought to tears by the testimony of those whom have witnessed her strength this past week and pray that Nancy will have the power to move on with her life now that her beloved Ronnie has gone on to join his saviour.

She was given a hard time as first lady and I feel that it is not too late now to give her what is due to her. RESPECT.

God Bless You Nancy Reagan. My thoughts and prayers are with you at this time.

I was deeply moved by the funeral service of our 40th president, Ronald Reagan. I was also touched by the closeness that he and his wife Nancy shared. In this day so many couples fall apart when difficulties arrive. I admire her for sticking with him through it all. He was a great President and man. The type that we need to see again in public office.

Our heartfelt sympathies are with all of your family. My father, Frank Stoy, did not have alzheimers but he passed away on June 1, 2004, so our family understands your sorrow at this time. We are experiencing the same. My father was also a wonderful man, a WWII veteran, a wonderful husband, father, grandfather & greatgrandfather, much like President Reagan. I will pray for you to be comforted by the love & healing power of God.

God Bless You.

Our Hearts are touched with grief when we stand at the grave of our “nearest and dearest earthly companion.” We cover the mound with a blanket of flowers and water those flowers with our tears. Our sad heart aches ’till it nearly breaks, but we have a Saviour who cares.

My deepest Heartfelt Sympathy to you and your family, at this sad time in your life and in the days which follow, My Dear Miss Nancy.

To the family of Ronald Reagan, Our deepest condolances to your family. We know of your pain first-hand. Seven years ago our Dad was diagonosed with Alzheimer’s. Dad passed away 2 days before your Dad. We buried him yesterday. No one knows of the pain unless they experience it for themselves. My prayer is for research to come up with new hope. Our Dads are in heaven,,,a peaceful place, with no more tears. God bless your family…you are in our prayers. May the memories of our Dads shine in our hearts forever,,,, Prayerfully yours,,,the family of William J. Musilli WW2 Veteran

We offer our most heart felt sympathy for Mrs. Nancy Reagan and family in the loss of their dearly loved one.We have walked down the same road of dealing with Alzheimers disease by caring for a mother with it in our home and a father living with his daughter until we lost both last October and November. We can rest knowing they are all in Heaven and free from the suffering that comes with this disease. Let us hope that there is a Cure found to keep many future families from the hardships we endured while caring for our loved ones. God Bless you and your family for your loving sacrifices for Mr. Reagan and God keep you safe until you join him once again in Heaven.
