Being older, Ronnie did not hang out with us younger cousins, but he was always kind to me, and I looked up to him. After all, he was in high school, played in the band, drove a car, and dated girls! As adults, we saw each other from time to time. I’m happy Ron had such a supportive family, and my thoughts and prayers are with Carol, Kellyn, and Taylor during this sad time.

We have many fond memories of Ronnie, when he was a young man. As I’m sure you all know, he was a very caring and giving person, growing up in a generation of many that only thought of “me”. He often baby-sat our two girls, who were 8 and 9 years old at the time.

This was in 1965.

Please accept our sincere condolences in his passing.

I was very sorry to read about Ron’s passing. Although I lost contact with this side of my family we’re second cousins, I remember Ron as a very kind and loving person…very much like his parents. Please know that all of Ron’s family is in my thoughts and prayers. People don’t really leave us; a part of them lives on in us, through all the fond memories. They stay in our hearts forever. May your special memories sustain you through this difficult time. With heartfelt sympathies, Linda

Ron and I grew up across the street from each other and were “Best Friends” in the truest sense of the term for young boys growing up in the 50’s. I enjoyed his company, his wonderful sense of humor, his animated love of life and his gift of music. Although we grew apart in adulthood I would think of Ron and hope he was doing well. I will always cherish those days when “Ronnie and Willie” would fill each moment with new adventures. My deepest condolences to his wife and family.
