I was saddened to read of your loss in the paper today. I doubt your family has much memory of me – I was a friend of Tommy’s. I lived in the Suburban Pk Apts throughout the late ’60s – early ’70s. Ronny was quite a bit younger than me in fact I think I was a year older than Tommy, but I always liked him. He was a nice kid & I’m sure he grew up to be a fine husband & father.

I can’t tell you how many times I’ve passed your old house on Virginian Dr. The memories flood back every time. My wife & both my children know all about it. God, I loved your house – so many rooms! That cool telephone in your kitchen! The piano in the converted garage! Wonderful place. I still live in the area – right across from DePaul Hospital, in fact. Tommy, Carolyn, Annette, Bobby, I remember all of you. My mom Kay does, too. Your family had a larger impact in my childhood memories than I even realized. Tommy, perhaps someday we could get together over a coupla beers & reminisce. E-mail me…

My family and I share your loss, we all shared a lot of good years with Ronnie. My family was mostly apart of his younger years in Daniel Gardens apartments. As young children we all gave our mothers a constant headache and a lively life, there never seem to be a dull moment in our little world in Wards Corner. We were all little Rebels and had wonderful friendships that are ever lasting. I rememeber Ronnie as being a little stuff guy with a gentle and quiet side to him. He was a little gentleman. My brother Clark wants all of you to know his heart is with you and he is sorry for your loss.

With fond memories,

The Grabow family
