Ronald L.”Ron” Higgs, 47, of Columbus, Ohio, formerly of McMechen WV. and Powhatan Point, Ohio, died suddenly, Tuesday, March 18, 2008 at his home.

Ron was born October 24, 1959 in Glen Dale, WV. a son of the late Harry E. and Helen L. Rush Higgs.

He was employed by Big Lots Distribution Center in Columbus, Ohio, a 1978 graduate of John Marshall High School and a Methodist.

Surviving are 4 brothers, Harry Lizette Higgs and Danny Mary Higgs all of Powhatan Point, Ohio, Robert Higgs of Mooresville, NC and Michael Higgs of Canton, Ohio, a sister Cheryl Mark Boger of Powhatan Point, Ohio, several nieces and nephews.

There will be no visitation. Inurnment in Powhatan Cemetery at the convenience of the family.

Cheryl and Family. My heart goes out to all of you in this time of loss.Ron will always be in our hearts through all the memories he made will all of us. He will never be forgotten.

TO THE HIGGS FAMILY I am so sorry to hear about your loss my thoughts and prayers are with you at these hard times I remember him coming to our house in McMechen with my brothers Bobby and Bruce he was a very nice person.
