RONALD D. GROSS

VIRGINIA BEACH- Ronald David Gross, 66, passed away at his residence with his family by his side on Sunday, January 16, 2005. Mr. Gross served in the U.S. Navy during Vietnam and retired as a MCPO after 27 _ years of service. He was a member of the Fleet Reserve Association Branch 99.

He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Barbara Gross; two daughters, Rhonda Jefferson and husband Earl Crabb, and Anne-Marie Kistulentz and husband Richard; five grandchildren, David Christopher and Jonathon Todd Jefferson, and Timothy Paul, Haylie Elizabeth, and Elias Joshua Thomas, all of Virginia Beach; two sisters and one brother, Gloria Jennings and husband Billy, Kenneth Gross and wife Betty, all of Blue Ridge, Virginia, and Judy Pinkston and husband Tom of Virginia Beach; two nephews, Ricky Gross and wife Vickie of Blue Ridge, Virginia, and Stephen Gross and wife Tracie of Thomasville, North Carolina; and several grandnieces and a grandnephew.

A visitation will be held on Monday, January 17, 2005 at Altmeyer Funeral Home, Virginia Beach Chapel, from 6:00pm to 8:00pm. A visitation will also be held on Wednesday, January 19, 2005 from 6:00pm to 9:00pm at the Lotz Funeral Home in Vinton, Virginia. The funeral service will be held at the Lotz Funeral Home on Thursday, January 20, 2005 at 11:00am with burial to follow in Mountain View Cemetery.

I’m sorry to hear of Mr Gross passing. You all are in my prayers. I am working nights so I cannot come to the viewing but would love to talk to you some other time. Be safe traveling.
