Bob and I have been friends since college days. He was my first real boyfriend. Afterwards we worked together at my schoolWoodsdale Elem. to teach children ways to be an independent person. Bob was great with my students every year teaching them what it was like to be a physical therapist. I will miss this truly loving and caring man. He was fun to be around. We would always tease each other. My thoughts and prayers go out to everyone in his family. I will miss him greatly.

Love,

Ceil

Dear Bill,

Bill, you might not remember me but I was in the Synod Bookclub with you for a few years. My thoughts and prayers are with you, your wife, and your family at this time. May you know and feel God’s peace, love and strength now and always.

Dear Kurz family-

What a fitting video tribute to such an exceptional person. Memories of growing up in Mozart, the Cool Cat ice cream business, and Bob’s passion for his professional work are just a few of the special memories of Bob for me. I had the priviledge of knowing Bob not only as another “Mozart Kid” but also as a co-worker at Peterson. His rich legacy will be remembered by many. My prayers are with all of you as you face the days ahead.

Dear Kurz family, I am sorry for your loss. I enjoyed your video tribute with all those great pictures and memories. It took me back to the days when Bob was the Cool-Cat here in Mozart. Driving around with a freezer in the back seat of his car selling ice cream in the summer. We always looked forward to seeing him. I also worked with Bob at Peterson years later and found it a pleasure to see him agian…even without the ice cream. May God Bless and comfort you.

Dear Mrs. Kurz and family,

I met Bob last August when I was a patient at Peterson after total knee replacement. Bob was the first to evaluate me. He helped me so much and always made me laugh, even when I was crying. He transferred me to Jamie but still checked up on me. The first day of therapy he told me to touch my knee to my nose. I looked at him with fear. Of course, he was only teasing. He would be proud because I now CAN do it. My prayers and thoughts will be with you all. Even though I only knew Bob from therapy, he helped me and alot of others. I hope this will help you a little bit with your healing, knowing how Bob touched so many lives. God bless you all,

Sincerely,

Kathy Whitacre Bridgeport, Ohio

I will be praying for all of you during this time. Bob was a great man, and I am honored to have known him as a friend and a co-worker. I got to know Bob while I worked at Peterson for a number of years beginning in 1997. He was very helpful at work, but even more than that he was great person to be around. He always made each day enjoyable, and I will forever remember his positive attitude and fun loving spirit. I have met very few people in my travels that have left a lasting immpression on me like Bob has. God bless.

Pastor Kurz and family,

We are so sorry to hear about Bobby. The video was wonderful, seeing the younger pictures of everyone made me think back of all the times our families spent together.

I always remember the one thing you told me, that we will all be together again and as I grow with age, I truly believe that.

God Bless you and we are thinking of you and your family.

Love,

Bob and Mary Ellen Anderson Fry

We will miss Bob’s smiling face in church on Sunday. I grew up with Bob in Mozart and have many wonderful memories of him from school, church, and growing up together. He was the strongest person I ever knew. He was Nancie’s physical therapist when she had her knee replaced and kept her laughing with all his light-hearted jokes when she was at her lowest. We pray for the family to have peace. We will never forget Bob and feel very fortunate to have known him and been his friends.
