ANDERSON, Robert L., 56, of Wheeling, died Thursday, April 26, 2001, in East Ohio Regional Hospital, Martins Ferry, Ohio.
He worked for Valley Camp No. 3, Coal Mine and a member of St. Alphonsus Catholic Church.
He was preceded in death by his father, Archie Anderson.
Surviving are his wife, Joyce Reiver Anderson; three sons, Scott Anderson and his wife, Lynn of Bellaire, Bobby Anderson Jr. and his wife Jennifer, of Beach City, Ohio, and Michael Anderson and his wife, Tracy, of Bridgeport, Ohio; a daughter, Denise Ernest and her husband, Jerry, of Shadyside; his mother, Baldoris Watson Anderson of Wheeling; two brothers, David Anderson and his wife, Gloria, Fred Anderson and his wife, Sue, all of Wheeling; 18 grandchildren; several nephew and nieces.
Friends received from 10 a.m. until time of funeral service at 1 p.m. Saturday at Altmeyer Funeral Home, Beiswenger Chapel, 3828 Jacob St., Wheeling, with the Rev. Patrick Condron officiating. Interment will be held at the convenience of the family.
