Dear Aunt Nancy, cousins Nancy & Robert,

I am so sorry to hear of Uncle Bob’s passing. I am grateful that he and Aunt Nancy came to the Island for an impromptu gathering of family when Mom, myself and my wife, Pat were up 2 years ago. Given Uncle Bob’s oxygen tank was with him the whole time, he was still his wonderful and funny self.

As a little tike, I still remember fondly spending some time on the farm doing the farm stuff, riding horses and just being outdoors. Those peanut butter and jelly sandwiches that you made Aunt Nancy, were the best!!

While I know that Uncle Bob was welcomed warmly into the gates of Heaven by Dad and Uncle George as well as all the sisters, it doesn’t make the loss any easier. His physical characteristics reminded me so much of Dad. And funny it just wasn’t me. I remember with a smile how my best friend that I grew up with around here, pulling me aside at Dad’s funeral to say he saw my Dad’s ghost–low and behold, it was Uncle Bob!!

Please know that our family will continue to lift all of you up in prayer and ask for GOD’s love to help you thru this transition time. Even though time and distance, kept us from seeing each other, I’m grateful that he was one of my special Uncles!!

We love you all!!

God Bless you all,
