Myrtle Beach, SC – Robert G. Hayden, 89, died January 11, 2012. Mr. Hayden was born in Boyne City, MI to the late George and Louise McBee Hayden. He was veteran, having served in the US Army.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Shirley Hayden of Myrtle Beach, SC; four daughters, two sons; three sisters, Joyce M. Edwards, Lois I Defore and Gertrude Green; one brother, George F. Hayden; eighteen grandchildren, and a host of great and great-great grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday at 2:00pm at Olive Branch Cemetery, Portsmouth. Condolences may be expressed to the family at altmeyer.com.

It is with great sadness to hear of Bob’s passing. I will always remember the times we had and the deals he used to get when shopping. When ever you hear thunder it will be the crowds in Heaven cheering another Birdee at Heavens’ course. You will be missed greatly
