Robert Edgar Price, 80, passed away November 05, 2013. He was born in Roanoke, VA to the late Paul and Edith Barton Price, and was also predeceased by 3 brothers, Julian “Tenny”, Richard “Buddy”, and Paul. He served his country during the Korean War with the U.S. Marines, and later became an electrician with the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers. He was a member of the V.F.W. post 4809, I.B.E.W. Local #80 Retirees Club, and the Kempsville Wood Carvers Club.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Mary “Jackie” Price; son, Robert Price II Debbie; daughter, Teresa Price; grandchildren, Kaitlyn and Kelsey; sister, Norma Barbosa Ric; and many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
A memorial service will be held Saturday November 9, 2013 at 2 pm at Altmeyer Funeral Home Southside Chapel in Virginia Beach. Please visit www.Altmeyer.com to leave a note to the family.
