Robert E. Reese<br>Age: 68<br><br><br>Robert E. Reese, 68 of Riverside Avenue, Wellsville, Ohio died at East Liverpool City Hospital on Friday, March 11, 2005 after an 8 month illness. He was born in Madison Twp., Ohio on June 27, 1936, a son of the late Fred Y. and Mary L. Means Reese. <br><br>Mr. Reese was a livelong area resident, graduating from Wellsville High School and working for 30 years at the Lordstown-GM plant as a utility man. During the Korean Conflict, he served proudly with the US Air Force. He was a member of the VFW Post 5647, the Eagles Nest 772, Elks Lodge 1040 and an active participant in the Wellsville Memorial Council.<br><br>He is survived by his wife, Mary Gibas Barth Reese whom he married on August 7, 1972; one son: Robert Barth and his wife, Peggy of Canton, OH; two daughters: Mary Gail Kimmel and her husband, Larry of Mansfield, OH and Penny Langdon and her husband, Ray of East Liverpool, OH; one brother: Kenneth Reese and his wife, Delores of Alexandra, Louisiana; one sister: June Billingsley of Wellsville, OH; five grandchildren: Jeff Langdon and his wife Lynn, Joanie Langdon, Robert Marcin III, Ryan Marcin and Michelle Marcin; three great grandchildren: Taylor, Joseph and Shannon Langdon; numerous nieces and nephews and his faithfull companion, Butter, his cat.<br><br>Besides his parents, four brothers precede him in death: Charles, Harold, John, and William Reese.<br><br>Services will be held at the Wellsville Chapel of the Martin MacLean Altmeyer Funeral Homes on Tuesday, March 15, 2005 at 11:00 AM with Pastor Jamie Reese of the Christian Assembly in Industry, PA officiating. The Tri State Burial Group will accord full military honors. <br><br>Burial will follow in Spring Hill Cemetery.<br><br>The family will gather at the Wellsville Alumni Association for food and fellowship after the service.<br><br>The family will be present to receive friends at the funeral home in Wellsville on Monday, March 14, 2005 from 2-4 & 6-8 PM<br><br>The family requests Memorial Contributions be made to the Wellsville Scholarship Fund.<br><br>

You have my deepest sympathy, I graduated with Robert in 1955, and was so looking forward to seeing everyone at our 50th Class Reunion this year. I will visit his grave site, You are all in my Prayers Alice Erwin-Larson
