Carmichael, Robert E., 79, of Moundsville, WV died Sunday, August 30, 2009 in Reynolds Memorial Hospital, Glen Dale.
He was born May 16, 1930 in Marshall County, WV a son of the late Clarence and Olive Pearl Carmichael
Bob was employed as a truck driver for Kittle Hauling & Supply in 1957. In 1969 he was appointed General Manager until his retirement in 1996. He was an avid motorcycle rider; was a member of the HOG club and a member of the Graysville United Methodist Church, Graysville, WV.
Surviving are a son Robert L. Carmichael of Moundsville; two daughters Ruth Ann McCulley of Columbus, Ohio and Susan L. Carmichael of Bonita Springs, Fla.; a sister Norma Berisford of Petersburg, Va.; four grandchildren, HoagyBridgett Carmichael of Moundsville, Charity M. Carmichael of Pa., Courtney A. McCulley , serving in Iraq and Holly M. McCulley of Columbus, Ohio and several nieces and nephews.
There will be no visitation. A Biker Memorial Service will be held at the Graysville Methodist Church Cemetery, Graysville, WV at a time and date to be announced.
Memorial contributions may be made to Hoagy’s Heroes Inc. PO Box 1276, Moundsville, WV 26041.

Bobby,

Sorry to hear about your father. I’ll always remember him as someone who enjoyed life as much as anyone. I’m sure he appreciated the time he was given on this earth as well. He never failed to speak anytime I saw him with a smile on his face. My thoughts and sympathy are with you and the rest of your family at this time.
