Bob was always happy to help and support so many of us in the zoo profession. His memory will live on in the students at the AZA schools in Wheeling.

Like so many others in our profession, Bob had a tremendous impact on my career. I am deeply grateful for the privilege of having known him. From all of the staff at the Chattanooga Zoo, please accept our sympathy and prayers.

My thoughts are with you, Marilyn, and the entire Wagner family as you deal with the loss of this great man. Bob was a mentor to me as a young professional in the AAZPA, and he was always supportive and encouraging. His leadership raised the zoo & aquarium profession to new levels, and his legacy of progress will be remembered.
