Dear Denny, Mary Catherine, Mark and families. I am so sorry Richard has had such a time these last few years. His long drawn out passage is one of the worst nightmares families have to witness and bear.
He is at peace, and I pray for your peace during this emotional time.
Unfortunately, my work schedule prevents me from visitation today. However, I will attend his funeral Mass tomorrow.

Dear Klug Family: I just learned of Richard’s passing. I was sorry to hear of it. I wish all of you the best.
Denny, Mark, Mary K, Patrick, Matt and Tim I am so sorry for your loss. Rich was my very best friend and although I was away all these years my first stop when I came back was to see Rich. He was a talented, kind, polite man who carried himself with distinction and grace. My heart is broken as well and I will cherish each and every memory and smile when I think of all the wonderful times we had throughout our childhood and growing up. I suggested the name on his beloved “62” Scooter as he called it, the “Ramblin” Rose. That name should still be on the bag below the windshield. I will miss seeing him again. All of you should be proud that He was such a gracious gentleman. Words just can’t express my sorrow. After the tears subside I know I will remember the all those memories and they will bring a smile. God Bless you all. Judy and I send our thoughts and prayers.

My deepest condolences to your entire family and the “riding family”. For many years we were all family. I have so many wonderful memories. I was just a little girl when I first met my parents’ “riding family”. Everyone was always so kind and tolerant to my brothers and I. Of course we were never with them riding, but I remember the parties and picnics when Rich and Denny would entertain, and all the stops at Smitty’s! Very good times indeed, and the friendship has lasted 50 + years! Prayers and love to you all.
My sincerest condolences and prayers during this difficult time. I remember Rich so well from St Francis and the times that he came in the store when I worked at Genuine Parts. He always had a smile and was great to get along with. May his soul rest in eternal peace.
My thoughts and prayers are with the Klug family. Richard was a classmate from Saint Francis to graduation at Bishop Donahue in 1960. He always had a smile and a kind word for everyone. He left us with many cherished memories. May he be in eternal peace with our heavenly Father. Our journey through life will be different without him. He will be deeply missed by his classmates and friends. My deepest sympathy.
