Reynolds, Richard J., 78, of Wheeling, died Wednesday, Dec. 5, 2001, in Ohio Valley Medical Center, Wheeling.
He was the son of the late Lewis Keyser and Marie Bernet Reynolds. He was an Army veteran, and a member of St. Alphonsus Catholic Church, Wheeling.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Bonnie Gabriel.
Surviving are his wife, Dorothy Burger Reynolds; four sons, Richard Reynolds and his wife, Sharon of Wheeling, Patrick L. Reynolds and his wife, Chris of Inwood, W.Va., Dennis A. Reynolds and his wife, Libby of Wheeling, and Philip J. Reynolds and his wife, Joy of Neffs, Ohio; four daughters, Colleen Ann Riggle and her husband, Nick of Cameron, W.Va., Emily Louise Leffe and her husband, Joe of Wheeling, Dr. Maureen Donna Reynolds Ford and her husband Bill of Pittsburgh, Pa., and Antoinette JoAnn Reynolds and her husband Kevin of Wheeling; a brother, Lewis B. Reynolds and his wife Shirley of Wheeling; two sisters, JoAnn Reynolds and her husband Kevin of Wheeling; a brother, Lewis B. Reynolds and his wife Shirley of Wheeling; two sisters, JoAnn Turner and her husband, Arden of Wheeling and Janet Hitrick of Wheeling; 15 grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Friends received 7-9 p.m. Friday at Altmeyer Funeral Home, 1400 Eoff St., Wheeling, where services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, with the Rev. Patrick Condron officiating. Entombment in Mount Calvary Cemetery Mausoleum, Wheeling.
