Richard ”Dane” Wilson, Age 29, of State Route 154 in Negley, Ohio died suddenly on Tuesday, October 2, 2001, while working as a carpenter in Winston-Salem, N.C.
Dane was born on April 28, 1972 in East Liverpool, Ohio, the son of Michael and Lane Rice Wilson of Rogers, Ohio.
A lifelong area resident, he worked for the Daly Seven Development Company as a carpenter and foreman. He was a 1990 graduate of Beaver Local High School and belonged to the Carpenters Local #922 of Butler, PA.
Besides his parents, he is survived by three brothers, Chad Wilson of Lisbon, OH, Brett Wilson of Alliance, OH and Zachary Wilson of Rogers, OH; two sisters, Mrs. Jerry Misti Watson of East Liverpool, OH and Casey Wilson of Elizabethtown, PA; and his fiance, Susie Hartley of Negley, OH; and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at the Calcutta Chapel of the Martin-MacLean-Altmeyer Funeral Homes on Saturday, October 6, 2001 at 11:00 AM with Brother Rick Frye of the East Liverpool Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, speaking.
Burial will follow in Clarkson Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home in Calcutta, today, Friday, October 5, 2001 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM.
