Rev. John Francis Weiglein, SM

Weiglein, Rev. Father John F., S.M., 82 died Wednesday, September 8, 2004 in Wheeling at the Good Shepherd Nursing Home where he had served as Chaplain for 13 years.
Father Weiglein went to the Marist Minor Seminary in 1939, made his religious profession in the Society of Mary in 1944, and was ordained to the priesthood in 1950. After ordination Fr. Weiglein served many years in seminary formation in Pennsylvania and Louisiana as a classroom teacher, and many years as a parish priest and pastor in Catholic parishes in Louisiana and West Virginia, including Wheeling, Buckhannon and Richwood.
Father Weiglein is survived by the members of his religious community, The Society of Mary, Atlanta Province.
