I’m always late with my condolences, but they are none the less heart felt. Raymond’s smile, sence of humor and his love of family, will be what I’ll remember best. My thoughts are with you all at this sad time.

I’ve just recieved the news about Ray & Steve through a classmate of ours at KHS. I first remember Ray in my fifth grade class at Arrowhead Elementary. I was among many little girls that thought he was just the “cutest guy”!He was always a fun person to be around! I knew his brother Steve & sister Cecelia. My heart goes out to you, Cecelia & your family, for the loss of your precious brothers. May God be with all of you!

One of the best qualities Ray-Ray had was always being there for you. His heart was big and he wore it on his sleeve. I wish his family the best and want them know that he will be truly missed, but never forgotten.

RAY RAY, YOU WERE LIKE A BROTHER TO ME AND MY BEST FRIEND WHILE I WAS LIVING IN VIRGINIA. I DONT THINK A DAY WENT BY THAT YOU YOU DIDNT MAKE SOMEBODY LAUGH. YOU WILL MOST SURELY BE MISSED BUT NEVER FORGOTTEN. THANKS FOR THE MEMORIES AND ALL THE GOOD TIMES. I REFUSE TO SAY GOOD-BYE BECAUSE WE ALL MUST TAKE THE NEXT STEP ONE DAY AND JOIN YOU IN A BETTER PLACE SO WITH THAT I’LL SAY “SEE YA LATER BRO”

Ray-Ray,

You are not gone, you are always here with those of us who love you! We had so many fun times and so much to remember, we have laughed and cried together and I will remember every one of them! You taught a great many people what “family” is about, you had to be one of the richest men I knew when it came to doing good, and the right thing, and what family means, and just in general being there when you could! I will miss not picking up the phone and hearing your voice and I am sure the boys will wonder what happened to PaPa… do not worry you will watch over them and Adam will always keep you alive in their hearts! I LOVE YOU!!

Sorry to hear about Raymond. We were pretty close from 70-73. I spoke to Russ at Tingle’s Backbay party last summer when he told me about Steve. Sorry to hear that as well. I last spoke to Raymond in 86 when he was with Susan Winslow. Gary Lamm informed me of his passing. Again, sorry for our loss. I’m always the last to hear these things because I live so far away. To the Cali Family,

I just found out about your loss. I can’t tell you how sorry I am. Raymond was like a brother to me. I didn’t have to see or talk to him everyday, but knew he would be there if he was needed.

He loved his family like nobody I have ever known. Nobody messed with anyone he loved, or he would show exactly how he felt.

It has been a year since I last saw Ray, and I know how much he missed Steve, and how proud he was of Adam. His love will be missed by everyone who knew him.

I am thankful he let me be a small part of his life. It is something I will never ever forget. I will love and miss him the rest of my life.

Tom; I’m sorry I can’t be there. If it were possible, I would be. Call me if you want.

Uncle Ray, you will always be in my heart forever!!! I have too many memories to list but I just remember laughing alot!!!!! The most precious one of all is when you held my daughter and rocked her to sleep….the “princess of hearts”…..and I will forever be your “QUEEN OF HEARTS”……I love you very much and you will never be forgotten. Now that your nephew is up there with you, take care of him.

love, tara
