Dear Connie, Ray & Ricky,

My heart is aching for each of you. Please know that even though I’m not able to be with you in person, I’m with you in heart and soul. I have been praying for all of you since I heard of the accident and you’ll be in my prayers forever. I’ll always remember Pat as the delightful kindergartener who grew up to be a wonderful, caring, charming, fun loving young man. Pat always had a minute to say hello whenever our paths would cross. I always appreciated that. He was a true gentleman and will be deeply missed by me and everyone who knew him. You raised a wonderful son.

My love and prayers are with you. You have my deepest sympathy.

Fondly, Sandy

Family & friends of Pat,

I didn’t know Pat very long but I knew I was going to like him immediately when he “booo”ed me for attending O.S.U. I feel very fortunate to have had the opportunity to know him and laugh with him.

Please accept my most sincere condolences. My thoughts and prayers are with you…

It was my privilege to teach Pat and his classmates at Central during their freshmen and sophomore years. Despite the years that have passed since then, my memories of that special group of “kids” remain constant. Pat was both an outstanding student and an outstanding young man. I can still see his bright smile and exuberant laugh during the lighter moments – I can still see his attentive and concentrated posture during all the hard work.

I wish to express my sincere sympathy to Pat’s family, his relatives, and his friends. I too share in the grief brought on by his passing.

May God welcome Pat into His heavenly kingdom, and may he know eternal peace and happiness.

With my sincere condolences,

Steve Turkaly

Mr & Mrs Johnson & family,

I want to express my deep sorrow for the loss of Pat. I know mere words cannot ease the pain that you must be feeling. But may you take pride in knowing that you raised one of the finest men I have ever known. He did not meet a stranger or anyone that he did not or could not befriend. I worked directly with Pat at GE for his entire stay here. He was a great coworker and friend. I have never heard anyone, anytime ever say anything but positive words about Pat. He will be sadly missed by his entire GE family. Please accept my deepest sympathy.

Mr. and Mrs. Johnson and Rick,

I worked with Pat when he was at GE in Morgantown. He was a fine man, and so full of life. He was respected by those he worked with, and he was a great friend to his co-workers. He had such a zest and an excitement in all that he did; his laughter was contagious. I know that Pat has been blessed with Eternal Life because he was such a blessing to others through his friendship. My thoughts and prayers will be with you in the weeks to come.

God Bless You,

Roberta Bastin

Pat was a good friend of mine and so many others here in Cranberry. I worked with Pat for a short time at GE in Morgantown before I moved here to Cranberry for Callery Chemical. Pat came to work at Callery a short time latter. He was a good engineer. I have many very fond memories of Pat golfing, playing euchre at the Elks, having a cold beer with friends, Halloween trip to Moundsville, and so much more. I found some digital pictures of Pat and a group of his friends from Callery at the Deckhouse when Pat had to sing Karioke songs at Kelly’s request since he lost one of his famous WVU bets. Pat enjoyed every minute of that night and he is proud he could not carry a tune. My boy’s Zach 9 and Jacob 5 would always greet Pat with “Paaaaaaat”. Jill and I extend our sincere condolences to all Pat’s family and friends.

Please accept our deepest sympathy on the loss of Pat. Though we only met him a couple of times we could tell that he was a very nice person. When we first met Pat it was like we had known him a long time. He was even friendly toward us when he found out we weren’t Gordan fans. We know that Cheryl T. and her family thought a great deal of Pat and know that they too will miss him deeply. We will continue to keep you all in our thoughts and prayers.

To the family of Pat Johnson:

I am the Chairman of the Chemical Engineering Department at WVU. Please accept my condolences, and those of the other faculty and staff, on your tragic loss. I remember Pat well, it was always a pleasure to have him in class. I had hoped to be able to drive up to attend the viewing and to meet you all in person this evening, but my meetings went on too late for me to have made it up in time. May Pat’s soul rest in peace. God bless you all.
