R. Carl Morris

R. Carl Morris, 72, of Pembroke Pines, FL, formerly of Moundsville, WV, died Sunday, February 3, 2008 in Westside Regional Medical Center, Plantation, FL.
He was born in Wetzel County, WV on February 7, 1935, a son of the late Andrew and Delia Huggins Morris. Mr. Morris was the Security Manager at Plantation General Hospital in Plantation, and was a retired Captain from the Moundsville Police Department.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Edna Morris Pastorius and an infant brother, Robert Nelson Morris.
He is survived by his wife Esther Csuhaj Morris, of Pembroke Pines; children, Michael Morris and his wife, Stacey, of Beulah, ND, Rodney Morris and his wife, Eileen, of Lavallette, NJ, Connie Dobbs of Marietta , OH, Kelly Bibler and her husband, Duane, of Olmstead Falls, OH, Carl Morris and Jo Morris, both of Pembroke Pines; a brother, Elwood Morris and his wife, Sharon, of Kings Mountain , NC; five sisters, Eleanor Dunlap of Olin, NC, Waleah Chadima and her husband, Jerry, of Alliance, OH, Wanda Stropski and her husband, Tom, of Amsterdam, OH, Rosalie Biery of Bridgeport, OH, and Sandra Morris of Charleston, WV; ten grandchildren, Jaime Morris, Esq. of Point Pleasant, NJ, Matthew Young of Pittsburgh, Pa,, Dr. Leslie Mazzarella and her husband, Dr. Jarett, of Hope Mills, NC, Cindy Morris of McMechen, WV, Brittnay Dobbs of Marietta, OH, Zachary Morris of Beulah, ND, Derek Morris of Beulah, ND, Katelyn Morris of Lavallette, NJ, John Morris of Lavallette, NJ, Michael Morris of Beulah, ND; and by one great grand-daughter, Mariana Acquino of McMechen, WV.
Friends will be received from 6-8 pm Friday at the Altmeyer Funeral Home, Lutes & Kirby Vance Chapel, 118 Grant Ave., Moundsville, where services will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, February 9, 2008 with Rev. J. Thomas Steele officiating.
Interment in Riverview Cemetery, Moundsville.
