QUEEN E. MINYARD

Queen E. Minyard, 93, of Virginia Beach died on Friday, October 12, 2001 in Beth Sholom Nursing Center.

Born in Edenton, North Carolina to the late Edward and Matilda Gray, she was a homemaker and the widow of Emory G. Minyard.

She is survived by a daughter, Jacqueline M. Moss and her husband, John, of Virginia Beach; four granddaughters, Robin Doyle and her husband, Ron, of Harrisonburg, Virginia, Beverly Hill and her husband, Kelly, of Chesapeake, VA., Carolyn Vaughan and her husband, Robert, of Chesapeake, VA., and Donna Cooper and her husband, Lee, of Franklinton, North Carolina; a sister Doris Smith and her husband Wallace of Virginia Beach , a brother Edward Gray and his wife Reba of Atlanta GA ; ten great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held at Altmeyer Funeral Home Virginia Beach chapel conducted by Lee Cooper on Tuesday, October 16, 2001 at 1:00 pm interment will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The Family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday from 3 to 5pm.
