RAYMOND, Phyllis T., 97, of Marshall Street, Benwood, died June 13, 2008 at her home.

Phyllis was born January 2, 1911 in Benwood, a daughter of the late Guiseppe Raimondi and Asunta Bonfonti Raimondi Padula. She was a member of St. Johns Catholic Church, Benwood and the Rosary Altar Society.

In addition to her parents, Phyllis was preceded in death by her step-father, Carl Padula; five brothers, Luigi Raimondi, and Joseph, Angelo, Samuel and Ernest Raymond: and two sisters, Helen Raymond and Lillian Principe.

Phyllis is survived by a sister, Matilda Padula of Benwood; four brothers, John Raymond of Moundsville, Frank and Tony Raymond of Benwood, and Rudolph Padula of New Jersey; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received from 5-9 pm, Sunday at Altmeyer Funeral Home, Benwood-McMechen Chapel, 214 Marshall Street, McMechen, where a vigil service will be held at 7 pm.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1 pm, Monday, June 16, 2008 at St. Johns Catholic Church, Benwood, with the Rev. Joseph Hayden, S.J. as celebrant. Interment will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery, Wheeling.

Memorial contributions may be made to Valley Hospice, 132 Peters Run Road, Wheeling, WV 26003.

Tillie I have prayed that Phil would go easy and hopefully she did. May God bless your family and my sympathy for your loss.
