Debbie & Family,

Even though we lost touch through the years. When you start a friendship at age 7 and become best friends it’s for life. I became apart of your family as you all became apart of mine. I truly loved Penny as my best friend and have thought of her often.

I remember all the secrets we shared. The time that we all went to Mississippi. And the time I tripped over Nameless and got the biggest black eye ever and Penny made sure I made it home ok.

How we used to roam the woods behind our houses and climb the boyís tree houses. How we would make our own houses in the woods and Penny would end up with a bad case of poison ivy. And Iíd come over just to talk with her so sheíd have company. Where one was there the other was.

A part of my heart now has a hole that no one can replace. I will be remembering you and the family in my prayers. I am truly sorry about the loss of someone who was loved so much by so many people.

Sincerely

Debbie Patterson Cox
