Pauline E. Wilson

Age: 86

Pauline E. Wilson, 86, formerly of East 4th Street, died on Monday, December 24, 2001 at the Nentwick Convalescent Center after a lengthy illness. She was born in East Liverpool, OH on December 3, 1915, a daughter of the late Alexander Osborn and Elizabeth Alcock Osborn.

Mrs. Wilson was a life long area resident. She was a member of the First Christian Church-Disciples of Christ where she was active in the Sigma Alpha Class. She was also a member of the Goldenaires at St. Stephens Episcopal Church.

Her husband, H. James ”Jiggs” Wilson, whom she married on June 25, 1938, died on June 6, 1963.

She is survived by a daughter, Carolyn Nentwick and her husband, Robert of Norristown, PA; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Besides her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by a daughter: Janet Wilson Smith; five brothers and six sisters.

Services will be held at the Calcutta Chapel of the Martin MacLean Altmeyer Funeral Homes on Friday, December 28, 2001 at 10:00 AM with Rev. Duane Hetzer, Chaplain at East Liverpool City Hospital officiating.

Burial will follow in Columbiana County Memorial Park.

The family will be present to receive friends at the funeral home in Calcutta on Thursday, Dececmber 27, 2001 from 2-4 & 6-8 PM

Just returned from a week at Ann’s in Colorado and saw the obituaries. I am so sorry to read of your mother’s passing. I called both hotels and Altmeyers. Mr. Copper said you had left town. I am sorry to have missed you.
