Pauline Allietta, 86, of Wheeling, WV, died Friday, April 10, 2015 at Wheeling Hospital.
She was born June 29, 1928 in Wheeling, daughter of the late George and Nora Piegan Baranofsky.
Pauline was retired as an LPN at Reynolds Memorial Hospital and was the former owner of the 250 Pkg Store, Inc.; was a member of St. Alphonsus Catholic Church; Chamber YMCA Water Aerobics Instructor; Christian Mother’s Ladies Guild; Eagles Ladies Auxiliary and was St. Al’s fish fry and pierogie lady.
In addition to her parents, Pauline was preceded in death by her first husband, Michael Skinto and her second husband, Eugene Allietta, and s sister, Nora Kent.
Surviving is her longtime companion, John J. Dolak and her four children; Susanne S. Nelson of Chapel Hill, NC, Michalene Christopher Bouzon, of Shelby, NC, Michael Susan Skinto, of Lexington, NC, and Paul Mary Skinto, of Elizabethton, TN, four grandchildren; Stephanie, Benjamin, Shannon and Jennifer, and six great grandchildren.
Family and friends will be received on Sunday, April 12, 2015 from 2:00pm-8:00pm at the Altmeyer Funeral Home, 1400 Eoff St., Wheeling.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday at 10:00am at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church with Rev. Douglas Ondeck as celebrant.
The family will conduct a private burial.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Alphonsus Catholic Church.

Pauline was an inspiration to me.we were both nurses and she gave me hope for the future watching her teach water aerobics.we always enjoyed talking shop. She loved you all so much. I will lift you up in my prayers.
