Baker, Paul R. Sr., 75, of Wheeling, W.Va., died Wednesday, Dec. 5, 2001, in Ohio Valley Medical Center, Wheeling.
He was a Protestant and a member of the Elm Grove Eagles.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Sarah Wickham Baker; two brothers, Harry and Lawrence; two sisters, Ethel and Hazel; and a granddaughter, Kelsey.
Surviving are his beloved friend, Blanche Kaminski; two sons, Paul R. Baker Jr. and his wife, Judy and Charles Baker and his wife, Becki all of Martins Ferry; four daughters, Nancy Callarik and George Balk, Janet Powers and her husband, Calvin, Sandra Timko and her husband Raymond and Elisha Hamilton, all of Martins Feryr; his extended family, Steve Kaminski and his wife, Lynn, Mark Kaminski and his wife, Linda, Ron Kaminski and his wife, Lynn, Kathi Kaminski and her husband, Dan Kaminsky, all of Wheeling; a brother, Wilbur ”Pete” Baker and his wife, Jean of Adena; two sisters, Esteleen Paoli and her husband, Ralph of Massillon and Maycel Johnson of Daytona, Fla.; 19 grandchildren and a great-grandchild; several nieces and nephews.
Friends received 7-9 p.m. Saturday and 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Sunday at Altmeyer Funeral Home, 1400 Eoff St., Wheeling, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday. Interment in Greenwood Cemetery, Wheeling.
