MORGAN, Paul E., 88, of Wheeling died Tuesday, January 22, 2008 at Wheeling Hospital.
He was born in Benwood on November 25, 1919 a son of the late Lyle S. and Mary E. O’Connell Morgan. He was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church, Wheeling, a retired Supervisor-Foreman for Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corporation, a 50 year member of BPOE #28 Wheeling Elks and a member of the Knights of Columbus #504, Wheeling.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Kathleen Miller Morgan in 1995, five brothers, William Morgan, Joseph Morgan, Walter Morgan, Rev. Leo Morgan, O.F.M., Cap., and Bernard Morgan, a sister, Marie Johanning.
Surviving are two sons, Charles P. Morgan and his wife Grace Brooks of Sitka, Alaska and Michael E. Morgan of Wheeling, two brothers, Robert T. Morgan and his wife Rita of Wheeling and Leo P. Morgan and his wife Linda of Wheeling, a sister, Geraldine Wendel of Plymouth, IN, three grandchildren, Jennifer Dempster, Cami Lynn Morgan and Chad Michael Morgan, a great granddaughter, Calli, several nephews, nieces, and great nephews and great nieces.
Friends will be received on Wednesday from 7-9 and Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9pm where a rosary service will be held at 8:00pm at Altmeyer Funeral, 154 Kruger Street, Elm Grove. Funeral mass will be celebrated on Friday at 10:00am at St. Michael Catholic Church with the Rev. Regis Schlick, O.F.M., Cap., as celebrant. Interment in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Wheeling.
