Paul A. Clarke

Paul A. Clarke, 82 of Grandview Road, Glen Dale, died Sunday, July 29, 2001 in Reynolds Memorial Hospital, Glen Dale. He was born November 25, 1918 in Proctor, WV. A son of the late Harry E. and Mary Augusta Taylor Clarke. He was a retired employee of the former Fostoria Glass Company in Moundsville. He was a Protestant and a veteran of the U.S. Navy in World War II. He was also a member of the Moundsville American Legion Earl Francis Post 3. In addition, to his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers, Stanley and Harry Dale, and two sisters Cornelia Kesselring and Bernice Sickles. Surviving are his wife Evelyn L. Van Camp Clarke, four daughters Joyce Lucas of Glen Dale, Mary West of Wheeling, Patricia Tomlinson of Fort Meyers, FL and Janet Shumway of Columbus, Ohio, two sons Charles Clarke of Mishawaka, IN. and David Clarke of Moundsville, one sister Fleta ”Bunny” Omero of Moundsville. Twelve Grandchildren and one Great Grandchild. There will be no visitation. Services and interment will be held at the convenience of the family.
