Patsy Spearinde

Age 96

Patsy Spreainde, 96, formerly of Railroad Street, Irondale, OH, died Thursday, November 22, 2001 at Nentwick Convalescent Center following a brief illness He was born in Teramo, Italy on October 16, 1905, the son of the late Frank and Aurora Pughesi Spreainde.

Mr. Spreainde had lived in the area for 81 years and retired in 1972 from Macomers, Inc in Canton, OH where he worked as an electric welder for 30 years. He graduated from Irondale High School and attended Immaculate Conception Church in Wellsville, OH.

He is survived by a brother: James Spreainde of East Liverpool, OH and several nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, he is preceded in death by a brother, Dominic Spreainde and two sisters: Mary Brooks and Agata Spreainde.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Immaculate Conception Church in Wellsville, OH on Monday, November 26, 2001 at 1:00 PM with Father Gabriel Yablonsky officiating.

Burial will follow in Toronto Union Cemetery in Toronto, Ohio.

Friends may call at the Wellsville Chapel of the Martin MacLean Altmeyer Funeral Homes on Sunday, November 25, 201 from 2-4 & 6-8 PM.

Patsy was a charmer. We will always have fond memories of both Patsy and his brother Jim. Both will be sadly missed. God be with you during this time of sorrow.

Uncle Patsy was more like a second granfather to me. He was fun loving and head strong and he loved a good argument. Uncle Pat and Grandpap were the center of all the family functions. Thank You Uncle Patsy………we love you.
