Craig, Patricia “Patty” A. of Wheeling, WV, died Wednesday, May 29, 2013 in Wheeling Hospital after a brief illness.
She was born April 17, 1937 in Wheeling, a daughter of the late Robert and Agnes Brilsky Anderson of Neffs, OH.
Patty was a retired seamstress from OVMC and continued her passion of sewing for hundreds of customers and companies throughout the Ohio Valley.
Many Brides, cotillions gowns, costumes, furniture cushions and “ball” dances were adorned with Patty’s sewing talents.
She attended St. Alphonsus Catholic Church in Wheeling.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Rodney D. Craig, a grandson, Don M. Zetty, a granddaughter, Rebecca Sue Craig.
Patty is survived by two sons, Thomas Susan of Powhatan, Point, OH; Rodney Wendy of Wheeling; three daughters, Phyllis, Jackie and Valerie all of Wheeling; six grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, two brothers, George and Robert Anderson of Bellaire, OH; a sister, Sandy O’Connell of Wheeling; several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held at the Altmeyer Funeral Home, 1400 Eoff St., Wheeling, on Saturday, June 1, 2013 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral services at 1:00 p.m. with Monsignor Thomas C. Petronek.

I am so sorry that I did not know that Patty had passed. I’m even more sorry that you lost such a special person. I have so many wonderful memories of her and the years we spent working together. Her talent was amazing and so was she. We shared so many laughs together. I am grateful to have known her. She was one of a kind. I will miss you Pat! My heartfelt thoughts and prayers go out to the family and friends.

I am so sorry for your loss. I remember your mom from years ago and she had recently moved next to my mom and they became very good friends.Ed and I have you all in our thoughts and prayers.
