Dear Mr. McTeague, Kent, Chris, and Matt,
I was so sorry to hear of the passing of “Miss Pat”. She was my first teacher, and as a teacher, I can say I had the best start! No matter how much time passed, whenever I would see her she would greet me the same way…with love and joy. I can only hope as my students grow, that they will look back at our time together as fondly as I do with my time with “Miss Pat”. Thank you for sharing her with me and with all of her other students! You will be in my thoughts and prayers.
Dr. McTeague, I’m very sorry for your loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
I am so sorry to hear of your wife’s passing.
With deepest sympathy,

I am sorry I could not attend the funeral. My prayers, thoughts and sympathies are with Michael and all of the family. I will greatly miss Patricia.

I was sorry so to read of Pat’s death. It seems
like only yesterday I saw her in the OUE library
or grabbing a quick cup of coffee on her break.
She was a beautiful woman whose absence now
must be heartbreaking. My deepest condolences
to you and your family.
I was very saddened to hear about the passing of Mrs. McTeague. I remember coming to your house in high school for a party maybe Kent’s graduation party? and I just thought she was so hip and cool for a mom. What a great lady! My thoughts and prayers are with your family as you go through this difficult time.
I will never forget how gracious Patricia was when, one Christmas, I managed to break her China gravey boat as we were preparing Christmas dinner. She assured me that it was just a small thing and not to worry about it, but I was mortified. As hard as I tried, I never did find a replacement.
Heaven has welcomed a very special angel.
It is with deep regret we receive the news of your loss. Thank you for the wonderful pictoral celebration of Mrs. McTeague’s life. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
Sincerely, Brent, Liz, & Meghan Kolb

I am so sorry to hear of your mom’s passing. I had only the honor of seeing her a couple times, but she seemed to make an impact on everyone who had known her- a truly remarkable lady. Please know the family and you are in my thoughts and prayers. May you remember all of the wonderful times and know she is at peace. If you need anything please call.
Sincerely,
Matt,
Please know you and your family are in my prayers. Your Mom was a very special person, and was a part of so many lives in so many ways. Michael, Christopher, Kent David, Matthew, Mary Catherine and Larry,
I know Patty is now in a better place, though that doesn’t lessen the hurt we feel. My favorite memories are of family Christmas parties, everyone singing and having a grand time! Patty must be up there with Uncle Ronald and Aunt Dorothy leading a round of Sweet Christmas Bells and Three Makes Jolly Fine Company!
Our prayers are with you as well as our love.
Angela, Mark, Brittany & Tyler

Mike, Kent, Chris, Matthew, Larry and Mary Catherine – We are so sorry for your loss. We had only known Patty for a short time, but felt we had known her for years. We remember the time we all went to Atlanta a couple of years ago, the fun and laughs we shared. Patty always had a beautiful smile on her face and a warm personality. She will be missed, we share in your sorrow.
Mr. McTeague & family,

Mr. McTeague,
Please accept me condolences during this time of sorrow. Words are never enough but they are all we have.
Don’t look too cross eyed at the name. I was a Western Civ student of yours in 1966-67.Those classes have remained strong in my memory for all the challenges you presented. You were most helfpful in getting some scholarship money for me when I went to Athens in 1967. Jean Bryant from OUL will share news of you with me on occasion. I have lived in Lancaster for many years and both my daughters attended the OUL campus.
Again, I am sorry for you loss and will keep your family in my prayers.
You may see some Ziants’ in St. Clairsville. My brother and his family live there now.
Take care and may God hold you and your family in the palm of His hands.
My prayers and thoughts go out to your family and friends. I have many wonderful memories of Mrs. McTeague from my time at OUE, I will carry and cherish. No words can express what you feel, but know that with pain comes salvation. Very truly yours, Jim Doty

Our thoughts and prayers are with your family.

Patty Kent was the most beautiful girl to come out of New Lexington. Everything about her. My sisters and I spent a lot of time at the Kent’s home – and there was never a dull moment. One thing my sister Nancy and I always talk about was going into Patty’s bedroom ~ this was during her high school and college years, and she would never get mad or bothered. She just didn’t mind us being there. When Patty drove by our home, she didn’t just wave ~ she would always stop her car at the curb and chat for a minute. We all loved Patty and will cherish our memories of her. Our hearts go out to her family. With Love, The Reichley’s, Russell’s, Fisher’s, and Grilli’s
So sorry for your loss, please know that your family is in our thoughts and prayers. If you need anything at all, please don’t hesitate to ask.
The McTeague Family:
So sorry for your loss. Pat was a wonderful lady and we loved playing tennis with her at Belmont Hills. She was a great tennis player!!! We will miss her. My mom, JoAnn Cheffy also wants to send her prayers and thoughts to the family.
God Bless you.
To Matt, so sorry about your Mother. I got to know her from the nursing home with your grandma Dorothy. They were two lovely ladies. I miss hearing you play the piano at Forest Hill. My Mother hasn’t been well lately and my sister is critical in Pittsburgh so I wasn’t able to come to the funeral home, but you are in my prayers. Love, Beverly Lough I always saw you in activities.}
To the friends and family of Mrs. McTeague we offer our sincerest condolences. Eric has told us how much Mr. McTeague means to him and how much Mrs. McTeague will be missed. We can tell from what we read about her that she was a very special person indeed.
Respectfully,
Millard and Valerie Minor
