Patricia Adele Hubbard DAVIS, 79 of Wheeling Island, died Friday, August 22, 2008 at Wheeling Hospital.
Patricia was born May 30, 1929 at Wheeling, the daughter of the late Azariah and Marie Cole Hubbard.
She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Martins Ferry, a 24 year employee of the Invoicing Dept. at Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corp., and a receptionist at the Ceasar’s Beauty Palace. Patricia was a 1947 graduate of Wheeling High School. She was a member of t he Island Senior Citizens and the AARP.
In addition to her parents, Patricia was preceded in death by her husband, Dale A. Davis, her two sisters, Virginia Reeb and Marjorie Dixon.
She is survived by two nieces, Mary Schneider of Wheeling, Becky John Maruca of Martins Ferry; three great nephews, Michael and Matthew Schneider, and Joshua Steffey; two great nieces, Bridget and Anne Doyle; two great great nieces and one great great nephew.
Friends will be received on Monday from 5 pm until time of services at 8 pm, with the Rev. Glenn Baker officiating at the McCoy-Altmeyer Funeral Home, 44-15th Street, Wheeling. Private interment will be at Greenwood Cemetery at the convenience of the fami ly.
