Dear Etta,

I am so sorry to hear about your mother’s death. Although I only met her when I was very young and do not remember her well, my dad always spoke very fondly of her and I knew that she was a very important person in his life. Please extend my sympathy to all your family members. You will all be in our thoughts and prayers.
