Olive V. Lemley, 81, of Neffs, Ohio, died, Thursday, December 4, 2008 in Belmont Community Hospital Bellaire, Ohio.
Olive was born December 26, 1926 in Armstrongs Mills, Ohio, a daughter of the late William and Eula Davis Secrest.
She was retired from the American Legion Post 77 Neffs, Ohio, a member of the Legion Auxiliary, Neffs Fire Department Auxiliary and a Methodist by Faith.
Preceding her in death were her husband George M. Lemley Jr. three sons; Robert Lemley, Bill Lemley and George “Pete’ Lemley, seven brothers; Woody Secrest, Clyde Secrest, Wayne Secrest, Hurlis Secrest, Carlos Secrest, Leo Secrest and Jack Secrest.
Surviving are two sons; Richard E. Lemley and Jim “Peanuts” Lemley both of Neffs, Five daughters; Linda L. David Penney and Nancy M. Scott Olson both of Sarasota, Fl., Sandra K. Vaughn of Shadyside, Susan Dan Daugherty of Warwood, WV. and Vicki L. Lemley of Neffs, Daughter-in-law, Anna Lemley. A sister Molly Patterson of Barnesville, Ohio, 14 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren, Many nieces and nephews including Jackie Secrest Driscoll of Neffs.
Family and Friends will be received Saturday 6-8p.m. and Sunday 2-4p.m. & 6-8p.m. at the Bauknecht-Altmeyer Funeral Homes and Crematory 441 37th Street Bellaire, Ohio where funeral services will be held at 11a.m. Monday with Reverend John Jackson officiating.
Interment in Armstrongs Mills Cemetery, ArmStrongs Mills, Ohio.
