Leroy cut my hair from age 6 until I went into the Army. Growing up without a father and a male role model we sometimes just adopt one.
Leroy was one of those men I really looked up to and admired. I didn’t just like him, I also respected him. He could provide in depth counsel for a young boy sometimes with just one sentence and a smile.
He was a great American, a proud West Virginian and one of my heroes.
He will be missed. My heart felt sympathy goes out to all the family.

My wonderful Uncle Leroy, my mom’s big brother. Uncle Leroy lived a great and long life and had the love of a great family and the respect of an entire city. I will never forget the help and thoughtfulness he showed me throughout my life. I am sure he and Mom, Uncle Ed, and Uncle Walter are enjoying their reunion right now. All my thoughts, love, prayers and sympathy to Aunt Martha and Mark. Love Nancy
So sorry to hear about Leroy passing he will be missed. God Bless Terri Wiedebush and Family
We are so sorry to hear of Leroy’s passing. He was more than a barber to me from the time of my very first haircut until I left Moundsville 22 years later. He was a friend, confidant and role model. Moundsville has lost one of its most caring, giving and dedicated public servants as well as an exemplary human being. May God give you His peace in the days, weeks and months ahead. You’ll be in the thoughts and prayers of more folks than you’ll ever know!
