My deepest condolences on your loss. If my family records are correct, Norman would be my second cousin, once-removed. He was born five years before my father, John Helling, who was born at Martins Ferry in 1929. Norman’s grandfather, William, would be brother to my great grandfather, August Wilhelm Louis Helling. I was born in Martins Ferry in 1953.
