Jaquay, Nicole Lea, 23, of Glenn’s Run Road, Wheeling, WV, died Tuesday, April 24, 2001, as a result of an automobile accident. She was born February 12, 1978 in GlenDale, WV, the daughter of Gary W. and Karen S. Morris White of Wheeling.

She was an assistant manager of the Deli Department at the Kroger Store, Mt. DeChantal Road, Wheeling. She was a member of the Mt. Olivet United Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, John R. White.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband, Todd F. Jaquay of Wheeling; a 16-month old son, Gage Walker Jaquay; her father and mother-in-law, Frederick J. and Janet R.PackJaquay of Elm Grove, Wheeling; her paternal grandmother, Pauline White of Grafton, WV; her maternal grandparents, Donald and Gladys Morris of Grafton, WV; her husband’s maternal grandparents, George and Joan Pack of Elm Grove; two brother’s-in-law, Brian Jaquay of West Liberty, WV and Ty Jaquay of Wheeling; three paternal uncles, Stephen R. White of Morgantown, WV, Roger F. White of Elkton, MD and John R. White of Grafton, WV; a paternal aunt, Darlene Thompson of Grafton, WV and a maternal aunt, Mildred Davis of Simpson, WV.

Nicole was a loving wife, devoted mother, a loving daughter and daughter-in-law, and will be greatly missed by her family and all of her friends.

Friends will be recieved, Thursday, April 26, 2001 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the Altmeyer Funeral Home, 118 Grant Avenue, Moundsville, WV. Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 27, 2001 at 11:00 AM at the Mt. Olivet United Methodist Church, Mt. Olivet, WV with the Rev. Linda Glass officiating. Interment in the Halcyon Hills Memorial Park, Sherrard, WV.

I’m very sorry to hear of the loss of Nikki. Let the thoughts of her presence in a better place be comforting. I know, however, it does not help those of us who will truly miss her.

You are in my prayers. I worked with Nikki at the store until I left for the Seminary in August. She was one of the sweetest people I ever knew. She had a smile that could melt the hardest of hearts. Please know that all of the seminarians at St. Vincent Seminary have you in their prayers. God Bless.
