BALGO, Nancy Fox, 66, of Wheeling, died Thursday, Oct. 24, 2002, in Wheeling Hospital.
She was born Aug. 14, 1936 in Wheeling, the daughter of the late Fred W. and Ella C. Shutler Fox.
She retired in 2000 as directoress of Russell Nesbitt Inc. and WATCH Inc. She was also on the board of directors of Russell Nesbitt Inc. and the board of directors at WATCH Inc.
She is a member of the Human Rights Committee; and a cum laude graduate of West Liberty State College.
She is a member of Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church, Mount Olivet.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald J. Balgo, in 1993; and a son, Dr. Timothy J. Balgo, D.D.S., in 1989.
Surviving are a daughter, Kimberly J. Balgo Jones and her husband, Clark of Wheeling; a brother, Howard L. Fox and his wife, Joan, of Wheeling; a sister, Jean Fox Huff of Wheeling; a brother-in-law, R. Douglas Huff of Wheeling; a grandson, Jarrod Timothy Jones of Wheeling; two nephews, Doug Fox and his wife, Robin of Wheeling, and Ryan Huff and his wife, Megan of Wheeling; three nieces, Lynn Pockl and her husband, Rick of Wheeling, Gail Timmons and her husband, Mike of Newport News, Va., and Bethany Huff of Wheeling; several great-nephews and nieces.
Friends will be received from 6-9 p.m. Saturday and from noon-3 and 6-9 p.m. Sunday at Altmeyer Funeral Home, 154 Kruger St., Elm Grove, where vigil services will be held at 7 p.m. Sunday. Funeral liturgy with Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church, with the Rev. Frank A. O’Kruta as celebrant. Entombment will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery Mausoleum, Wheeling.
