MOYNIHAN, Nancie E.Long 83 of Moundsville, W.Va., formerly of Martins Ferry, OH., died Thursday December 12, 2002 in Moundview Nursing Home, Moundsville.
Nancie was born August 21, 1919 in Martins Ferry, OH., a daughter of the late George T. and Grace A. McCleery Long. She was a homemaker and a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, Moundsville.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond A. Moynihan and a sister, Margaret Jane Westlake.
Surviving are her son, Daniel T. Mulheran of San Diego, CA; step-daughter, Michal Moynihan and her children, Stewart, Rachel and Lauren, and step-son, Bruce Moynihan and his wife Diane and their son Matthew , all of Martins Ferry, OH.; a niece, Mrs. Sally Joseph of Moundsville; great nieces, Rebecca A. Kessler of Wheeling and Anne M. Beatty and her husband John of Martinsburg, WV; great nephews, Charles Joseph and his wife Heidi of Morgantown, WV., and James Bird and his wife Maureen of Las Vegas, NV, and several great-great nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received from 6-9 pm on Friday at Altmeyer Funeral Home, Lutes & Kirby-Vance Chapel, 118 Grant Avenue, Moundsville, where a rosary service will be held at 7 pm Friday evening. A graveside service will be held at 1:30 pm on Saturday December 14, 2002 at St. Mary

I remember soup and sandwich lunches.

I really enjoyed the time that I was able to spend with Nancie on Sunday mornings when she still lived at the Golden Towers, we had some really nice conversations. She was an interesting and nice woman. She will be missed.
