Muriel A. Lim, 77, of St. Clairsville, OH died Tuesday, May 12, 2015 at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus, OH. She was born June 3, 1937 in Grand Island, NY a daughter of the late Carlton and Florence Mayer.
Muriel was a homemaker and a member of East Richland Evangelical Friends Church, and was very active in all church functions. She was a warm, generous, friendly, and encouraging person who loved Jesus and serving others. She loved to travel with her children and visit her family. Even in her later years, she enjoyed riding roller coasters and watching shows at Disney World and Cedar Point, and seeing Broadway shows on tour.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Dr. Eleuterio G. Lim in 2005.
Surviving are her children, Larry Lim of Columbus, Arion Jay Hypes of Herndon, VA., Linda Lim of Poestenkill, NY., Andrea Bryan Green of Land O Lakes, FL., Peter Lim of St. Clairsville, and Patrick Lim of Newark, DE; four brothers, George, Clyde, Scott, and Jerry Mayer; and a grandson, David Green.
Friends will be received on Sunday from 2-5 pm at Beck-Altmeyer Funeral Home & Crematory 204 W. Main St. St. Clairsville. Friends also will be received on Monday from noon until 1 pm with the Funeral Service at 1 pm at East Richland Evangelical Friends Church with Rev Jerry Wenger officiating.
Memorial contributions may be made to East Richland Christian School Student Scholarship Fund or the American Cancer Society.

I met Muriel through Cora Jewell. She was a very giving person–of her time, her abilities & her resources. She was always kind to me & enjoyed travelling to be with her children. Trust the Lord to see you through. He is faithful.
