Mona Lea Kerr, 84, entered into rest on Thursday November1, 2001 in Virginia Beach, Virginia. She was born in Indiana and she was the widow of Jeremiah A. Kerr. She was a homemaker and retired seamstress. She was a Roman Catholic.
She is survived by two sons James M. Young of Chuckatuck, Virginia, and Ed Kerr of Chesapeake, Virginia; a brother Theodore MacGranahan of Lake Gaston, Virginia; a sister Frances Lunsford of St. Petersburg, Florida; as well as five grandchildren.
A Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated in Christ The King Catholic Church at 7:00pm on Monday November 5, 2001 by Reverend Brian M. Rafferty.
The family will receive friends at the church prior to the service from 6:00pm.
Burial in Woodlawn Cemetery in Bluewell, West Virginia will take place at a later date.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Christ The King School building fund, 3410 Tidewater Drive, Norfolk, VA.
