Mitchell Cetorelli, 85, of Bellaire, OH, died Thursday, January 17, 2008 in the East Ohio Regional Hospital.

He was born March 18, 1922, in Bellaire, a son of the late Frank and Augusta Berti Cetorelli.

Mitch was a retired employee of the Ormet Corp., was a member of the American Legion Post 52, VFW Post 626, Bellaire Eagles FOE 371, Sons of Italy 754, a Catholic by faith, and a Navy veteran of WWII.

Mitch is survived by 2 sons; Donald and his wife Nell, of St. Clairsville, Brian and his wife Linda, of West Bellaire, a sister Vera McCann and her husband Stanley, of West Bellaire, a brother Libero Cetorelli and his wife Florence, of Long Island, NY, and 2 grandchildren, Adam Cetorelli and Joe Wheeler.

Friends will be received on Sunday, January 20, from 2:00pm until 8:00pm at the Bauknecht Altmeyer Funeral Homes and Crematory, 441-37th St., Bellaire where services will be held on Monday at 10:00am with Msgr. Gene Mullett officiating.

Entombment will follow in Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove, OH.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.

Sons of Italy will conduct services on Sunday at 7:00pm in the funeral Home.

American Legion services will be held at 9:45 am Monday in the funeral home.

I am sorry for your loss. I met Mitch over 35 years ago when I used to hang out at the Bellaire Music Center. Mitch had a great personality and always had a joke to tell. He has always been one of my favorite people. He played for my wedding 28 years ago. I’ll always have fond memories when I think of him. He was truly one of a kind.

mitch was a great neighbor.i always enjoyed talking with him. i have lived on pinch run all my life and enjoyed mitch as a friend and neighbor.we will miss him alot.

We were sadden to hear of the passing of Mitchell. My father also had cancer and I feel for your family and understand the feelings you are going through. My heart and prayers are with you.
